What is passed on must be protected. In technology, an algorithm is a set of intentional instructions—designed to guide behavior, make decisions, and produce predictable outcomes over time. Algorithms are not neutral. They reflect the values and priorities of those who create them. Once deployed, they quietly shape the future.

Communities operate the same way. Every policy we establish, every system we maintain, and every value we model becomes an intergenerational algorithm—passed forward through families, schools, economies, cultures, and institutions.
